Enough Killing !!

A thirteen year old was shot by the sniper here today. Luckily he is still alive, but this has just gone too far. The total randomness of it is terrifying.

The schools are in lockdown mode everyday now, and police with automatic weapons are on duty before and after school.

The fact that you can be killed just filling up your gas tank at the service station becomes a little stressful after awhile.

While I want this shooter dead, I want him taken alive so we can know why he has chosen to do this to my community.

sculpey- i bid you peace...and i hope you might turn some of the fear into vigilance...no one can deny your right to be fearful but don't let this person/persons own your peace and turn it into fearfulness.

Be more aware of those around you and know that the bottom line is this: anyone can take anyone else's life at any time- it ain't pretty but it's a fact.

I, too, want this person/persons arrested and given every opportunity to explain but we all know that they will get representation that most of couldn't afford and may get off. This, too, is a sucking fact of our representative republic.
We are (thank God) NOT a democracy as most think. That would make it mob rule as in the majority rules.

Let's all hope the killer/killers are caught soon. In the mean time be aware of all you see and all you do and never let your guard down.
